For Burning Man 2011, I was a part of the great Troy Camp – a team of artists led by Alberta’s Douglas Bevans. With Karilynn Thompson and Jay Mosher, we created a handy PDF of costume instructions for hundreds of volunteer “slaves” to pull the great horse. We constructed one-of-a-kind stiff leather helmets for the leaders of the group and several horse-scale plastic heads to be affixed to bikes on the playa.
